The National SCORE Office in Herndon VA recently released the results of their FY2016 Client Engagement Survey in which they asked questions of almost 163,000 clients who had used SCORE face-to-face mentoring services in the Fiscal Year Ended 9/30/2016 with a response rate of 11%.
Analysis of responses by more than 18,000 clients resulted in the Treasure Coast Chapter of SCORE placing in the Top 25 of all SCORE Chapters in the country and specifically placed 22nd out of over 300 SCORE Chapters.
With a score of 4.32 Treasure Coast SCORE exceeded the national average of 4.09 as well as leads the results of SCORE District 455 which includes five SCORE chapters from Indian River County down to the Florida Keys.
As part of this annual survey, conducted by Price Waterhouse Coopers, their analysis indicates that the Treasure Coast SCORE chapter is credited by their clients with helping start 221 new businesses and create 307 jobs in FY2016. Over the two years that this analysis has been conducted, the total number of new businesses started was 454 with 603 new jobs created.

SCORE Chapter 308, has its main office in Ft. Pierce and branch locations in Hobe Sound, Jensen Beach, Palm City, Port St. Lucie, Stuart, White City, Sebastian, and Vero Beach. In the fiscal year ended September 30, 2016, Treasure Coast SCORE served 827 unique clients in face-to-face and eMail mentoring sessions, and held 117 workshops with 1,688 attendees. Total services for the year were 4,220.
