Philip Barnes

I will teach you what you need to know to raise money for your nonprofit. I am currently in my fifth year as a full-time fundraising professional. My specialties are grant writing, donor engagement, special event planning and marketing/communications. I enjoy listening to clients to make sure their needs are met. I look forward to working with you. 



Robert Berry

I can help you in areas such as construction, commercial real estate, retail, public entities, and professional liability.

As a business owner and real estate investor, I have developed deep experience in customer aquisition, personnel, finance, administration, and IT. I'm a licensed insuramce broker and consultant for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and am licensed to practice in all New England states, New York, and Florida. My additional professional designations include Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and Certified Risk Manager(CRM).

I have served as President of the Initied Chamber of Commerce and President of The Franklin (MA) Downtown Partnership/

Janice Binger

I have worked in sales, marketing,contract negotiation, and business management for over 25 years on an international basis.  The industries I have worked in include: food, pharmaceuticals, supplements and personal care working for global companies that supply ingredients to these industries.


Mike Bobal

I can assist with financial management, strategic planning, funding, general business management in addition to financial planning for the business owner.

With over 25 years experience as a business owner in a variety of industries. These industries ranged from manufacturing, distribution, consulting and various franchises. My most recent endeavor was Traco Business Systems.  At the time of purchase Traco had sales of $500,000 and was purely a distributor of filing systems. Traco grew to become an integrated manufacturer with sales of 8.5 million. 

Dennis Brinly

Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Product Development for consumer products manufacturers whose products are sold to mass merchants, big box retailers, warehouse clubs, hardware stores, grocery stores, specialty retailers and hardware & grocery wholesalers.

Martin Brown

Business entrepreneur with 35+ years of experience of business ownership start-ups, specializing in Information Technology and Artificial Intelligence Consulting. Programming, quality control, project management, sales and marketing, fiscal management, and recruiting expertise. Masters Degree and SCORE counselor since 2003.


David Christopher

Spent 45 years in the travel industry, with experience in airlines, cruise lines, tour operations and travel agencies.  Managed small (4 employees) and large (several hundred employees) operations.  Experience areas include sales, marketing, and operations.  


Rober Cosentino

My wide array of experience can help start up entrepeneurs as well as business owners looking to expand their business. I have counseled and trained people in all facets of business. I am focused on your individual needs and will not manage our relationship in a cookie cutter style. It is very important to have others help guide you making major decisions on your business and career. Mark Davis

Retired from a 45 year banking career, with over 25 years spent as a senior credit officer responsible for the structuring and approval of credit transactions in consumer, commercial, and private banking.  Armed with a comprehensive knowledge in all phases of lending and credit, I was an SBA certified lender, and was responsible for the underwriting, approval, and administration of a loan portfolio in excess of $1B, with loan authority of $10MM.  

Graduate of the National Instalment Lending School, the National Commercial Lending School, and The Stonier Graduate School of Banking (all American Bankers Association)  - as well as a Certified Financial Planner® - served as a Commissioner on the Disciplinary and Ethics Commission of the Certified Financlal Planner Board of Standards.


Timothy Fitch

With my financial, marketing and planning background, I can help you develop a strategy that not only allows you to "sell stuff", but also do it profitably. 

I spent almost 40 years in the Life Insurance Industry - most of which was spent helping insurers develop and implement strategies that would allow the companies to offer products that were attractive to the buyers and profitable to the insurers.


Ruth Fite

Ruth became a Legal Administrator in 1974 and managed the firm of Shulman, Rogers in Silver Spring, Md for over 6 years.  She then moved to Las Vegas in 1980 to manage the firm of Jones, Jones, Bell, Close 7 Brown,the most widely known gaming firm in Nevada. In the mid 80's, she and her husband Rich, moved to Ft. Pierce, Florida.  With her husband they opened a golf shop and Ruth also became the Administrator at Moss, Henderson, an insurance defense law firm in Vero Beach.

Returning to Las Vegas for her husbands new job, Ruth started her own promotional products business, selling with an emphasis on golf tournaments and awards.  Her sales territory was- Arizona, Nevada, Utah and California,  In this business for over 19 years, she sold her business and retired in 2014.


George Greenstein

Thirty years experience working for IBM - tool design engineering, semiconductor process engineering, manufacturing engineering management, semiconductor plant management, and corporate vice president of procurement. As head of IBM’s US non-product procurement led the total re-engineering of the process, yielding a 25% reduction in purchase dollars, which developed into a model for the non-US operations and became a service offering IBM now provides to its customers. Also, three years experience working in a family owned textile manufacturing business and three years experience owning and operating a startup photo-offset printing business. SCORE Counselor since 2000, past Chapter Chair.

Kostas "Gus" Gregory

Second generation of a hospitality family. Raised in the restaurant business working in my fathers various restaurants bars etc. After I left college I went to work for a couple of national food service firms. In 1969 I left Chicago and moved to Miami and started a consulting business[Gus Gregory Associates] .... In 1975 started a company called Total Food Service Direction inc. This company grew to be the largest contract food service contract company in South Fla this was an award winning company featured on the cover of several national industry publications. Past president and board member of our national association. Voted Silver Plate winner 1988[operator of the year]. Sold company in 1997 and stayed on during the transition until 2004. Continued with the consulting company doing several projects in S. Fla. I have a lifetime of experience and knowledge that needs to be passed down to the next generation.



Peter Guala

Peter Guala has more than 25 years experience in general management, sales leadership, and marketing. He has a distinguished and successful career delivering solid and sustainable revenue and profit contributions for multi-national publicly traded companies including KNPBT, Office Depot, Alco Standard/Unisource.

Currently and in the past, Peter volunteers his time to mentor executives of diversity and small businesses.

Charles Gumpel

Started as an engineer in the aerospace industry and after ten years returned to school to earn a law degree.  Licensed to practice law in California (now inactive - retired) and before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.   Legal specialty:  Intellectual Property with emphasis on patent prosecution.  Intellectual property includes patents, copyrights, trademarks and trade secrets.



Steve Hebel

Retired executive with Bell South, A&T, and Equifax. Previous owner of small business in the publishing market. Experience working with large and small businesses development, marketing, sales, product  management including product development, market development, advertising, quality metrics, customer satisfaction and market analysis. Have developed and instructed on building business plans and funding startups. Experienced with employee compensation, incentive compensation, employee retention plans. Experienced with business owner and employee retirement plans including federal qualified retirement programs. Experienced in regulatory matters. Worked in domestic and global markets.

Kenneth Koziol

Process Control Engineer, Project Manager, and Program Director.  General Manager of a Contract Manufacturing Company.  General Manager of the Advanced Applications Business Unit of a mid-sized company.  Chairman of an Industrial Standards Committee.  Testified before the National Academy of Sciences on Source Replacement.  Member of a Presidential Commission.

Hubbard A. Knox

Banking and financial specialist with 40+ years of experience. Commercial lending, financial planning, mergers and acquisitions, consulting and business brokerage. SCORE Counselor since 2008.




Gary Mastro

As the former Corporate Vice President of Brand and Product Marketing, Gary was responsible for marketing communications, event marketing, customer relationship management and the UPS product portfolio. He had responsibility for product performance, new product integration, advertising, brand strategy and sales support through training and technology.

Under Gary’s direction, UPS launched its most aggressive advertising campaign in its 100 year history.  The “What can BROWN do for you?” campaign.

During his 38 years with UPS, Gary has been involved in projects ranging from the introduction of UPS Next Day Air® to developing import and export services on a global basis and establishing UPS’s Sales and Marketing organization outside the U.S..

Gary began his career with UPS in 1968 as a part-time loader in Camden, New Jersey.

He is the Managing Director of a marketing consulting firm, Marketing Solutions Group, and for the last five years has been engaged with a number of small and mid-size firms.

Bob McCabe

Management consultant performing operational and financial assessments leading to formulation and implementation of turnaround plans or liquidation process for various organizations: large and small; public and private; as well as domestic and foreign.  Over thirty years as executive with General Motors Corporation at operations in New York City; Detroit, MI; Edinburgh, Scotland, UK; Warren, OH; and Flint, MI with considerable travel to activities on six continents.  Extensive experience as chief executive officer and chief financial officer in automotive assembly and component manufacturing, off-highway earth-moving equipment, service parts business and telecommunications industries.  As entrepreneur, formed light construction and house painting business.  Currently, treasurer of several local activities including this SCORE chapter.  BS in accounting and MBA in finance from Cornell University.

Bill Schell

15 years Motorola - Hong Kong & USA - Secure Computing & Intellectual Property Protection; Software Development standardization, software development, silicon-fabrication market analysis.

5 years self-owned-operated companies - LAN / WAN design, implementation; software development and IP protection.



Sal Schifilliti

I can help you in starting and developing your own business. As a Banker for 25 years and a small business owner for 12 years in the Treasure Coast I have extensive knowledge in developing business plans, managing a franchise operation, securing financing , maintaining your own books and all other aspect of running a small business.

I started my career in a NY Bank, which after several mergers is now known as JPMorganChase. Most of my time was spent in the international banking division and worked in Brazil for 10 years and Mexico city for 7 more years.

Walter Sherman

Salesman for a vending machine manufacturer for 20 years. Started a chocolate and candy business in MA and sold the business after 32 years.

William "Bill" Strouss

As a CPA, CFO of a large manufacturer, General Manager of a mid-size engineered products company, and an owner/operator of a small manufacturing company for 20 years. I have  experienced and navigated the many facets of starting, growing, and operating a small business. During my career I also participated at a senior level in "not for profit" industry associations and community organizations.

Recently I completed a Doctoral degree in Leadership Studies while teaching finance and accounting as an Adjunct Professor at the university level and in an MBA program.


Frank Tidikis

Healthcare field experience of over 35 years. Successfully built, opened, and managed hospitals and multi-hospital systems in both the proprietary and not-for-profit sectors. Experience also includes several startup healthcare companies that were either taken public or sold to strategic buyers, which ranged from physician practice management and concierge medicine to medical education. Latest focus has been primarily on startup and turnaround situations, which has required an emphasis on business development, cost control, and strategic goal setting. Been working with SCORE since 2009.
