About

Kathleen O'Heron is CEO and Co-Founder of Jynx Productions, an independent documentary production company based in Maine. She received a B.A. from UCSD and an M.A. from the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. Her career began in London as the Post-Production Supervisor for Bloomberg Television.
In 2000, Ms. O'Heron returned to New York as the Global Head of Post-Production for Bloomberg LP. During this time, she led the initiative to upgrade the company’s analogue post-production environment to an entirely tapeless, digital workflow. Then, after successfully managing the Post-Production Department’s migration to Bloomberg’s new HQ in 2005, Kathleen decided it was time to embark on a new adventure. It was at that point that she decided to switch tack altogether, pursue a long-held ambition, and to build her own media production company from the ground up. So, she moved her young family to Maine.
The move north allowed Kathleen to rekindle her passion for documentary filmmaking while fulfilling her entrepreneurial drive. While Jynx Productions started as a mom and pop production space above a garage, it has since morphed into an International Media Production House that provides documentary content to leading television networks and corporate clients around the globe.
Ms. O’Heron is a self-confessed tv junkie, an avid gardener and a rambler with wanderlust. She currently resides in Yarmouth, Maine with her husband and business partner, Johannes Wiebus, their three kids and the array of pets that wander to her doorstep.
